DayofPal– Jenin camp is bearing the scars of relentless military aggression on the West Bank as Israeli forces continue their large-scale assault, leaving a trail of devastation.
According to the media committee in Jenin refugee camp, the ongoing military operation has claimed 49 lives, with 25 people were from the Jenin city and its camp.
As the offensive intensifies, the scale of displacement has reached staggering levels—3,200 Palestinian families, amounting to 20,000 people, have been forced to flee their homes, seeking refuge in the unknown.
Jenin refugee camp is plunged into darkness as electricity and water have been completely cut off, leaving thousands to struggle for survival amid severe shortages of food and essential supplies, especially for children.
Schools have shut down, and healthcare services have collapsed under the weight of the crisis. Meanwhile, 35% of the city’s residents suffer from water scarcity, while four hospitals in the region teeter on the brink of shutdown due to severe shortages.
In addition, between 150 and 180 homes and structures have been partially or completely demolished, leaving families homeless and exposed to the harsh conditions of the war.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces have escalated their crackdown, arresting 120 people from the city and its refugee camp, while dozens more have been subjected to house raids and field interrogations.
