DaysofPal – For the 129th consecutive day, Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip through repeated field escalations that include artillery shelling, air strikes, and live fire across various areas of the enclave. The ongoing attacks have deepened the toll of casualties and entrenched a fragile security reality in which the ceasefire has largely lost its meaning.
Israeli artillery, according to local sources, targeted regions in the southern Gaza Strip east of Khan Younis. A series of air strikes also hit the city of Rafah in the south, in addition to two separate raids east of Khan Younis. The attacks reflect a pattern of ongoing military operations that have persisted despite the agreement’s entry into force.
These incidents highlight the ongoing documented violations, which include gunfire, house demolitions, artillery and air bombardment, and limited ground incursions. Daily monitoring reports have recorded breaches since the ceasefire began, pointing to a consistent operational pattern rather than isolated incidents.
Cumulative data indicate that 630 people have been killed since the start of the agreement, including 194 children, 84 women, and 22 elderly individuals. These groups account for approximately 47.6 percent of the total fatalities, highlighting the disproportionate impact on vulnerable civilians.
The number of wounded has reached 1,623, including 501 children, 324 women, and 89 elderly people. Vulnerable groups represent nearly 56.3 percent of the total injured.
Escalating Field Incidents
Documented statistics show 1,734 field violations since the agreement took effect. These include 793 bombardment operations, 617 shooting incidents, and 241 cases of house demolitions, in addition to incursions by military vehicles into border areas. The daily average stands at roughly 13.6 violations, indicating a systematic pattern incompatible with de-escalation requirements.
The shelling east of Khan Younis and the air strikes on Rafah are part of this upward trajectory, particularly in southern areas expected to witness redeployment under agreed withdrawal lines. Field realities, however, indicate continued fire control over wide swaths of territory.
On the humanitarian front, Israeli occupation forces have not allowed the entry of the agreed quantities of aid and fuel. The ceasefire stipulates the entry of 600 trucks per day, including 50 fuel trucks. The actual rate has not exceeded 43 percent of the agreed total.
Since the agreement began, 32,836 trucks have entered Gaza, including only 934 fuel trucks. This figure represents about 14.5 percent of the estimated fuel needs, disrupting the operation of vital facilities and affecting the health, water, sanitation, and electricity sectors.
Rafah Crossing Restrictions
Restrictions on travel through the Rafah land crossing continue. Actual compliance with the agreed movement of travelers has not surpassed 33.8 percent of the numbers expected to depart. The reduction in travelers and the imposition of restrictive procedures on humanitarian and medical cases have further compounded civilian hardship.
Taken together, the data suggest that Israeli violations of the Gaza ceasefire have evolved into a sustained course of action that undermines the core of the agreement and erodes its practical value. Humanitarian pressure on Gaza’s population continues to intensify under persistent bombardment and tight constraints on essential supplies.
