Israeli settlers uproot dozens of Palestinian olive and grape trees in the occupied West Bank city of Hebron on Thursday evening, June 1, 2023.
Palestinian activist Mohammed Ayyad reported that Israeli settlers uprooted 25 olive and grape trees in the Palestinian lands in Beit Ummar, south of occupied Hebron.
The settlers held a concert on lands owned by the Palestinian citizen, Muhammad Adi, and attacked him with stones.
“I was surprised when I saw dozens of settlers, protected by the occupation forces, constructing a tent on my land,” Adi pointed out.
The land owner added that Israeli settlers have frequently invaded the lands for a week, vandalizing and attacking properties.
A recent report by the UN revealed that Israeli settlers injured 1,222 Palestinians from 2012 to 2022 after carrying out 3,372 violent incidents.
In April 2023, Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out up to 442 attacks against Palestinian families and their properties.
