Israeli settlers from the “Hermesh” settlement, west of Ya’bad town in southern Jenin, kidnapped Tuesday night, July 18, 2023, a former Palestinian detainee from the town of Qabatiya.

Meanwhile, Israeli forces raided the home of another former detainee in the village of Rummana and stormed the village of Zububa.

According to local sources,” a number of settlers kidnapped the former prisoner Maher Sati Abu al-Rab from Qabatiya after assaulting him while he was passing near the settlement on the main road linking Jenin and Tulkarm.

The settlers handed him over to the nearby Israeli forces.

In a related context, Israeli forces raided the village of Rummana at dawn today and stormed the home of the former detainee Nizam Abd Jameel Al-Amour.

They caused extensive damage to the house contents, summoned him for interrogation, and later released him.

It is worth mentioning that the Israeli forces had released Al-Amour three months ago.

Furthermore, Israeli forces also invaded the village of Zububa and conducted a search campaign without reporting any arrests.
