Protected by Israeli occupation forces, a group of colonial Israeli settlers invaded the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, September 24, in conjunction with intensified restrictions imposed on Palestinian worshipers, limiting their access to the holy site.
Over 400 extremist settlers stormed the mosque, embarking on provocative tours and participating in Talmudic rituals near the vicinity of Bab Al-Maghariba, the Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem.
Sources have indicated that Israeli troops were deployed to ensure the security of settlers during their incursion into the mosque.

They continued to prevent Palestinian worshippers from entering the Al-Aqsa mosque, provocatively checking their ID cards and detaining some of them at the mosque’s external gates.
Semi-daily, Israeli settlers invade Al-Aqsa and provocatively perform Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, aiming to impose a temporal and spatial division in the sacred site, which the Muslims and Palestinians reject and decry.
In August 2023, at least 3891 colonial Israeli intruders stormed the mosque and performed Talmudic provocative rituals in its squares, according to Palestinian figures.
Earlier in June, media sources revealed a new Israeli proposed plan to divide the Al-Aqsa Mosque between Jews and Muslims, which deprives Palestinians and Muslims of their rights to this Islamic site.
