Dozens of Israeli settlers, under the protection of occupation forces, invaded Al-Aqsa Mosque on Monday, July 24,2023, through the Moroccan Gate.
Local sources reported that the settlers carried out provocative tours within the mosque’s courtyards and performed Talmudic rituals in the area of Bab al-Rahma (the Gate of Mercy).
Occupation foces continue to restrict the entry of worshipers coming from Jerusalem and the 1948-occupied Palestinian territories, meticulously examining their identities and detaining some at the outer gates of the mosque, while dozens were forcibly expelled from the premises.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque faces daily incursions by settlers, except on Fridays and Saturdays, with invasions occurring in both the morning and evening.
These actions are part of an attempt to enforce temporal and spatial divisions on the Mosque.
