A group of Israeli settlers destroyed Thursday, August 10, 2023, drinking water system in Kisan village, east of occupied Bethlehem.
Local sources reported that a number of Israeli settlers from the “Ma’ali Amos” settlement, which is located on Palestinian citizens’ lands, destroyed a drinking water system in the Khallet Al-Hamr area, southeast of the village, belonging to the Palestinian citizen Hassan Yousef Al-Abyat.
Sources also indicated that the Palestinian citizen Abyat had been attacked by Israeli settlers several times, adding that Israeli settlers had set up a tent in that area, aiming to seize the land.
In its recent report, the Israeli Information Center for Human Rights (B’Tselem) stated that Israel has been using a systematic illegal policy demonstrating the profound dehumanization Palestinians have undergone, suffering a chronic water crisis in the occupied territories.
