Israeli repression units raided Monday, May 8, 2023, Sections (5) and (7) in Rimon Prison, and transferred 3 prisoners to solitary confinement cells.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners Club, repression forces stormed several sections of Rimond Prison and searched prisoners’ belongings.
According to a brief statement issued by the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs, repression forces affiliated with the Prison Service Department stormed Rimond Prison’s Sections 5 and 7, conducted searches, and transferred Ahmed Saadat, Ahed Ghalamah Abu Qais, and Walid Hanatshe for investigation and solitary confinement.
When conducting inspections, the Occupation Prisons Administration typically deploys special units that abuse prisoners by assaulting them, spraying them with poisonous and tear gas, and using diverse methods of torture.
