The Israeli public broadcaster Kan News reported that senior officials within the Israeli forces described the current situation as a “deadlock” spanning several military arenas.
The officials indicated that Israeli occupation is struggling to manage increasingly complex confrontations amid sustained security, military, and political strain.
The remarks come as military operations in the Gaza Strip continue, alongside escalating tensions along the border with Lebanon and a persistent standoff with Iran.
According to the report, these overlapping Israeli aggressions have placed Israeli occupation in a prolonged state of attrition, complicating efforts to achieve decisive outcomes.
Israeli genocidal war on Gaza, which began in October 2023, has resulted in tens of thousands of casualties and widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, and essential facilities, including healthcare and educational institutions.
The genocide has also drawn international criticism, with accusations of large-scale violations against civilians, while the Israeli occupation has not declared any formal defeat of armed resistance groups.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese-Israeli border has witnessed near-daily exchanges of fire for several months between Israeli forces and Hezbollah.
The cross-border hostilities have led to deaths, injuries, and the displacement of thousands of civilians on both sides, as Hezbollah continues to inflict regular losses on Israeli forces.
At the same time, tensions between Israeli occupation and Iran remain high, with no indication of de-escalation.
Iran has maintained its positions and continues to pursue the policies and programs that have contributed to the broader regional confrontation.
Analysts suggest that the convergence of these Israeli aggressions underscores the challenges facing Israeli occupation as it navigates a prolonged and multifaceted military engagement, with no clear endpoint in sight.
