The Israeli occupation forces launched on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, a massive arrest campaign against Palestinian citizens in separate areas of the occupied West Bank.
The Ministry of Detainee’s Affairs in Gaza stated that the Israeli occupation detained more than 20 citizens, including freed prisoners, during a large campaign of arrests against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.
According to local sources, these forces carried out military incursions into various Palestinian villages, camps, neighborhoods, towns, and cities, and raided many civilian homes, and subjected their residents to field investigations.
The sources said that the occupation forces arrested 6 Palestinians from Ramallah, 3 from Nablus, 1 from Beita, 3 from Tubas, 3 from Hebron, and a number of young men in separate areas of the West Bank.
The occupation forces tried to arrest 3 citizens in the town of Al-Yamoun in Jenin, but they were unable to do so amid armed confrontations with the Palestinian resistance fighters in the town.
During their incursion into the town, they vandalized and smashed the contents of several houses and a Palestinian vehicle that was parked in front of a citizen’s house.
It’s noteworthy that the cities of the West Bank witness daily incursions by the Israeli occupation forces, including arrests, and confrontations between the occupation soldiers and Palestinian youths.
