Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli forces stationed at watchtowers near the apartheid fence, east of Khuzaa town, southern Gaza Strip, opened fire and attacked a group of Palestinian farmers while working in their lands.
No injuries have been reported. However, Palestinian farmers were forced to flee their work areas to find safety.
Under the Israeli blockade, Palestinian farmers and fishermen are subjected to semi-daily Israeli attacks. Since 2006, Israeli tanks, escorted by several military vehicles, have been routinely conducting limited incursions into the agricultural lands along with Gaza border.
