Israeli Occupation Forces Storm Silwan, Wound Palestinian Citizens

The Israeli occupation forces stormed today, Sunday, December 4, 2022, the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem, and opened fire at the Palestinian citizens, wounding a number of them.

According to local Palestinian sources, a number of young men suffocated as a result of inhaling toxic tear gas, after the occupation forces fired tear gas canisters at them during confrontations that broke out in the town of Silwan in occupied Jerusalem.

Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces stormed the Abu Tayeh neighborhood in the town of Silwan, and fired tear gas and stun grenades at the young men.

They added that confrontations broke out between the occupation forces and young men in the Abu Tayeh neighborhood, and the young men responded to the attacks of the occupation soldiers with stones, and a number of them suffocated.

The occupation forces removed the Palestinian flags from the neighborhood before withdrawing from the town of Silwan, south of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
