Israeli Occupation Forces Prevent Palestinian Farmers from Harvesting Olive Crops in Salfit

M.Y | DOP -

Israeli occupation forces on Sunday prevented Palestinian farmers from harvesting their olive crops in the northern West Bank village of Haris, to the central West Bank province of Salfit, according to local sources.

Israeli occupation forces prevented the Palestinian farmers from working in their own land, which is close to the illegal Israeli settlement of Revava, and forced them to leave it.

Israeli occupation forces and illegal settlers have intensified their attacks against Palestinian farmers and land in the occupied West Bank, particularly during the annual olive harvest season, destroying trees and preventing farmers at gunpoint from harvesting their crops.

The olive harvest season, which has just started, is one of the most important for thousands of Palestinian households in the occupied territories whose income depends heavily on the success of this season.
