Israeli Occupation forces killed a Palestinian boy during their incursions on the city of Nablus today, Thursday, January 5, 2022.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced, at dawn today, the death of the child, Amer Abu Zeitoun, 16 years old, after being hit by a bullet in the head, fired by the occupation soldiers during the military aggression on Nablus.

Large numbers of Israeli forces stormed the eastern area of Nablus, which led to confrontations with the defenseless Palestinian citizens, during which the occupation soldiers fired live bullets and sound and gas bombs at the citizens, which led to the murder of the child Abu Zaytoun.

According to the Palestinian Red Crescent, the boy, Abu Zaytoun, was shot in the head and another in the chest, and his condition was described as critical. He died of his wounds after doctors tried to save his life.

It stated that two other Palestinian young men were wounded by bullets of the occupation forces, which carried out a military operation against Palestinian citizens in the Balata camp.

During their storming of Nablus, the Israeli occupation forces detained the freed prisoner, Hassan Araishi.

With the murder of the child Abu Zaytoun, the number of Palestinian martyrs since the beginning of this year has risen to four. Recently, the Israeli occupation forces killed the child Adam Ayyad in the Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem and Mohammad Hoshiyeh and Fouad Abed in the village of Kafr Dan in Jenin.

It is noteworthy that the Israeli forces killed 232 Palestinian citizens in 2022.
