Israeli occupation forces summoned 11 Palestinian minors for interrogation in occupied Jerusalem within a few hours, Tuesday, 24 January 2023.
The Palestinian Information Center of Wadi Hilweh reported that Israeli military forces arrested and summoned 11 Palestinian minors aged between 13 to 17 for interrogation in occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli arrests targeted Palestinian children from the occupied Jerusalem towns of Silwan, Al-Issawiya, and Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, Source added.
Some Palestinian children got arrested while leaving their school, according to Information Center.
Palestinian children are routinely subject to torture and abuse under interrogation, solitary confinement during interrogation, beating and kicking by Israeli occupation troops, threats of sexual assault, and other forms of abuse.
It’s worth noting that Israeli occupation is holding nearly 400 Palestinian children in Israeli prisons under harsh living conditions, depriving them of their basic human rights.
