The Ministry of Detainees and Ex-Detainees said that Israeli occupation forces detained Tuesday, February 14, 2023, nine Palestinian citizens during their military raids on several cities in the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

Local Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces detained four citizens from Nablus, Muhannad Al-Kaabi, Hassan Tuffaha, Imad Al-Baz, and Basil Hamami, after raiding and searching their homes.

They also detained the citizen, Nasr Abbas, from the town of Zababdeh, southeast of Jenin, after storming the town and raiding his family’s house. In addition, they handed summons for investigation to more than ten Palestinian young men, most of whom were freed detainees.

The Israeli occupation forces intensified their military presence in the town of Silat al-Dahr, south of Jenin, after storming the town, and deployed snipers on the roofs of the Palestinian buildings.

They also stormed the town of Qusra, southeast of Nablus, and launched a campaign of raids and storming of several homes, searching them and destroying their contents, and conducted a field investigation with its residents.

It’s noteworthy that these provocative acts in the West-Bank  come amid the escalating atmosphere, especially after the formation of the new Israeli Government as it follows a systematic daily violations against Palestinian citizens, deliberate detention campaign, house demolitions and mandatory deportation policy in a multiplied approach in a way to suffocate and complicate Palestinian lives.
