Israeli Occupation Forces Attack, Detain Palestinians in West Bank

M.S | DOP -

Israeli occupation forces launched today, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, military incursions in several areas of the occupied West Bank, during which a number of Palestinians were detained, while violent confrontations broke out in the Al-Amari and Jenin camps, and in some areas in the Hebron governorate.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club reported that the occupation forces detained a number of Palestinians in the West Bank, under the pretext of participating in acts of popular resistance against the Israeli settlers and the occupation forces.

The occupation forces raided dozens of Palestinian homes in the West Bank, wrecking them, after detaining their residents for hours and subjecting them to field investigations.

They stormed the Jenin camp, as Palestinian sources explained, while Palestinian resistance fighters confronted the occupation forces and opened fire on them in the Jenin camp area and its surroundings.

Special Israeli forces of the occupation army also stormed the Al-Amari camp in the center of Ramallah and Ain Al-Sultan camp in the city of Jericho.

Confrontations erupted late at night and Wednesday morning between Palestinian civilians and the occupation forces in the town of Beit Ummar, Hebron district.

The occupation forces assaulted the Palestinians in the Beit Zata area in Beit Ummar, north of the city, this morning, which led to the injury of a number of Palestinians who suffocated.

The West Bank witnessed the implementation of 21 acts of Palestinian resistance, in 7 confrontation points during the past 24 hours, as part of the Palestinian citizens’ response to the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers and their storming of their homes, according to the “Maata” center.
