Israeli occupation court postponed on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, the hearing session for an early release of the Palestinian cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid.
The Palestinian Prisoners Information Office stated that the occupation has postponed the session for an early release of the sick prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid to October 6, 2022, after it was scheduled for next Thursday.
Several days ago, Abu Hamid’s lawyer submitted a petition to consider the request for his early release following a deterioration that occurred in his health.
Earlier Tuesday, the Palestinian Prisoners Club stated that the health of cancer-stricken prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid seriously deteriorated as he suffered from a near-total loss of movement and severe pain in the spine.
50-year-old Nasser Abu Hamid is serving a life imprisonment sentence seven times in addition to 50 years in Israeli prisons. He is one out of 600 Palestinian sick prisoners held in Israeli jails where medical negligence is practiced against them.
