Israeli outlet of Yedioth Ahronoth reported on Tuesday, 23 May 2023 that Israeli troops installed defensive walls and earthen dams that completely conceal the borders between the besieged Gaza Strip and Israeli military posts around Gaza borders.
These defensive reinforcements and fortifications call into question the deterrence that Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu is talking about, the outlet added.
Yedioth Ahronoth noted that It is clear that the next military offensive on Gaza Strip is just a matter of time.
It’s worth noting that the Israeli occupation launched on 9 May a military onslaught against Gaza in which at least 34 Palestinians, including children, were killed and 147 wounded in the besieged enclave since the Israeli bombardment.
Almost 800 Palestinians have been displaced by the Israeli onslaught on the Gaza Strip, which began on 9 May.
According to the Ministry of Social Development in the besieged coastal enclave, 784 people have been internally displaced.
According to MoH in Gaza, the closure prevented 432 patients and companions from traveling to receive treatment in Palestinian or Israeli hospitals outside.
MoH in Gaza added that 27 of those patients were in need of critical lifesaving intervention.
