Israeli Hadassah Hospital dismissed Sunday, 27 November 2022 a Palestinian doctor after he gave sweets to an injured Palestinian child by Israeli occupation fire in occupied Jerusalem last month.
The Israeli hospital fired Ahmad Mahajnah, a heart and lung surgeon and a resident from the city of Um al-Fahem, 1948-occupied Palestinian lands after he gave sweets to Ahmad Abu Quteish, a Palestinian child who was shot and injured by the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied Jerusalem in October.
Activists slammed the Israeli hospital’s decision saying it’s ‘an example of racism against all Arabs and Palestinians,’ adding that ‘the incitement by Israeli media had the biggest influence in the hospital’s decision.’
