A Palestinian Friday morning sustained a shrapnel injury from Israeli army gunfire in the occupied West Bank city of Nablus.
She said that a sizable army force barged its way into the Old City of Nablus from several directions, where the heavily-armed soldiers surrounded a house.
During the ensuing violent confrontations, the soldiers opened fire towards local youths who attempted to block their entry, injuring one in the neck.
Palestine Red Crescent said that their medics evacuated the casualty, who sustained shrapnel injury in the neck, to a hospital. His condition was described as stable.
