DaysofPal- Medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported that the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) have killed 41 Palestinians since dawn today as a result of Israeli military attacks in the Gaza Strip, including 37 in Gaza City, including children and women, as Israel’s military has begun its ground offensive to occupy the northern urban centre.
According to the sources, 8 people were killed, over 40 were injured, and many others were reported missing after Israeli warplanes struck homes belonging to the Zaqout, Hammad, and Ballousha families near al-Amn al-‘Aam junction, causing extensive damage to surrounding houses.
In the al-Daraj neighborhood, 6 people were killed and others were wounded when two homes belonging to the Taha and Masoud families were bombed, with several residents still trapped under the rubble.
In al-Sabra neighborhood, 4 civilians were killed in a strike on the Hindi family home in al-Khudariyah area, while others were injured when a house belonging to the Siyam family near al-‘Aliyah School in al-Shati refugee camp was hit.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out controlled demolitions of residential buildings around Birkat Sheikh Radwan, alongside artillery bombardment and air raids targeting Sheikh Radwan, al-Karama, and al-Saftawi neighborhoods, as drones of the “Quadcopter” type opened fire.
Further airstrikes targeted agricultural lands north of Gaza, including areas near the Intelligence compound and al-Karama.
Politically, Israeli Army Minister Yisrael Katz declared that “Gaza is burning,” warning that Israel “will not back down,” as military escalation continues.
Meanwhile, the Hamas Movement denounced remarks by former U.S. President Donald Trump regarding the Israeli offensive and the situation of Israeli captives, calling them “a blatant bias toward Zionist propaganda.
The death toll from the Israeli genocide committed by the Israeli occupation in Gaza since October 2023 has risen to 64,905 martyrs, in addition to 164,926 wounded, more than 9,000 missing, and a famine that has claimed hundreds of lives, while more than two million Palestinians live in conditions of forced displacement amid widespread destruction.
