Israeli occupation forces demolished on Monday, March 6, 2023, several Palestinian homes and structures in occupied Jerusalem neighborhoods of Al-Issawiya and Wadi Al-Jouz.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli forces invaded the eastern areas of the Al-Issawiya and demolished wooden structures and tents.
In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces demolished two Palestinian homes in the Wadi Al-Jouz neighborhood.
The sources pointed out that the homes have embraced three Palestinian families for more than 20 years.
The demolition came under the pretext of building without a permit, a pretext intensively used by Israeli forces to displace Palestinian families.
In January 2023, Israeli occupation forces demolished about 37 Palestinian structures and homes in occupied Jerusalem, 11 of which were demolished by their owners under Israeli orders.
