Confrontations erupted Sunday evening, March 5, 2023 between the Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) and Palestinian citizens and in Shuafat refugee camp, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.
Local sources said that confrontations erupted after the occupation forces raided the camp and closed the checkpoint at its entrance.
Meanwhile, confrontations broke out in Tuqu’, southeast of Bethlehem where occupation forces injured a Palestinian citizen with a rubber-coated metal bullet, while two other Palestinians suffocated due to gas inhalation.
Media activist Mustafa Al-Badan said that confrontations centered in the “Khirbet Taqu'” area, during which the occupation forces fired bullets, tear gas canisters and sound bombs, which resulted in the injury of a young man with a metal bullet in the abdomen, and others suffocated by gas.
