Israeli occupation bulldozers demolished Wednesday, 12 October 2022 six Palestinian-owned structures in the village of Bir Hadaj in the occupied Negev under the pretext of building without a permit.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces broke into the village of Bir Hadaj in the occupied Negev and demolished 6 Palestinian commercial facilities along with a house belonging to Palestinian youths from the village.
The commercial facilities were the only source of income for Palestinian youth and their families, the source added.
Israeli forces continue to demolish Palestinian villages in the occupied Negev under the pretext of building without a permit. They also continue to demolish the village of Al-Araqib which was demolished for the 207th time in a row, on a monthly basis.
Palestinian towns and villages in the occuiped West Bank and the Negev have seen increased demolition orders by Israeli forces in recent months, aiming to force the Palestinian residents to forcibly leave their own lands.
In the highest number since the beginning of 2022, 134 buildings belonging to Palestinians were demolished or seized in August by Israeli occupation forces.
The Israeli occupation has demolished 8746 Palestinian structures and damaged 1559 homes since 2009, displacing 13,000 people and affecting 152,000 others.
