Israeli Forces Cold-Bloodedly Murder Palestinian Old Man in Tubas

M.Y | DOP -

Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Friday morning, August 19, that Salah Sawaftah was killed of a serious injury he sustained in the head by Israeli forces in Tubas at dawn.

Local sources reported that Sawaftah was fatally shot in the head by Israeli forces at dawn on Friday while heading to his home following the Al-Fajr (dawn) prayer.

Moreover, the sources added that Israeli occupation forces injured two Palestinians and kidnapped five others during a military raid in Tubas.

For its part, the Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed that the Israeli forces detained five Palestinians, including two brothers and a university student, after searching and wreaking havoc on their homes in Tubas.

Since Israel occupied the West Bank in 1967, Palestinian families in the West Bank cities have been subjected to semi-daily incursions by Israeli occupation troops. During their raids, Israeli troops attack, terrorize, detain, or even kill Palestinian civilians.
