Israeli occupation forces IOF attacked several Palestinian journalists at the entrance of Beita, south of occupied Nablus, on Saturday, January 28, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces opened fire at a number of journalists while assuming their work at Beita’s main entrance.
It added that the IOF fired live bullets against the journalists despite clearly wearing press coats. The IOF also fired tear gas canisters at Palestinian youths in the area.
Earlier on Friday, an Israeli settler opened fire and injured five Palestinians, including one in critical condition, the Palestinian ministry of health reported.
Following the Incident, Israeli occupation forces closed the entrances of Beita with sand blocks and military vehicles, restricting the movement of Palestinians.
