Israeli occupation forces IOF conducted large-scale raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem early on Monday, September 11, 2023, resulting in the arrest of 18 Palestinians, including 8 university students.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces invaded Hebron, raided several homes, causing damage, and subsequently arrested 11 Palestinians, among them 8 university students.
The detainees include Muthana Al-Qawasmi, Anas Salhab, Adnan Maswada, Basel Farah, Mohammad Abu Hlayyel, Mohammad Matour, Ubaida Adi, Diaa Al-Zuhur, in addition to Abdullah, Ahmad Hmaidat, and Ayham Asafra.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces arrested Alaa Anaya and Majd Anaya from the town of Azzun, east of the city.
The arrests also included Mehraan Ahmidan and Mahmoud Mansour from the town of Biddu, northwest of Jerusalem, as well as Mahmoud Zahayka from the town of Jabal Al-Mukaber.
IOF also detained Badr Al-Din Saleh from Al-Mazra’a Al-Gharbiya, north of Ramallah, and Abdullah Zakarna from Jenin.

Daily Raids
Israeli forces have been conducting semi-daily nocturnal raids in the West Bank and Jerusalem, instilling fear and causing injuries among Palestinians.
These raids have systematically turned deadly, resulting in casualties and further escalating tensions in the region.
Significantly, IOF carried out a substantial wave of arrests during the month of August, targeting a total of 510 Palestinians, including 44 children and 7 women, across the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Gaza Strip, as documented by the Palestinian Center for Prisoners’ Studies.
