DaysofPal — Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of raids and arrests across several areas of the occupied West Bank early Monday, detaining dozens of Palestinians and conducting widespread searches of homes, according to local and security sources.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces arrested four Palestinians, including three brothers from the village of Al-Walaja, northwest of the city.
Security sources said the forces stormed multiple homes, searching properties and detaining several residents while terrifying women and children during the raids.
In Hebron, Israeli forces arrested 10 Palestinians after raiding and searching their homes. Local sources reported that troops stormed the town of Beit Kahil, northwest of Hebron, where seven residents were detained.
Israeli forces also set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and surrounding towns, villages, and refugee camps.
A number of main and secondary roads were closed using iron gates, concrete blocks, and earth mounds, further restricting movement in the area.
In Nablus, Israeli forces intensified their military presence and entered the city through the Deir Sharaf checkpoint. Military vehicles conducted raids in the town of Beit Furik, east of the city.
Security sources said several military vehicles also entered the village of Qabalan, south of Nablus, where forces searched homes and arrested a resident, Jihad Saleh, after reportedly beating him.
The sources added that Israeli forces damaged a greenhouse belonging to a local resident, Talat Amleh, in the village.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli troops also raided the village of Beit Furik, as well as the Balata and Askar refugee camps east of Nablus, and the town of Aqraba to the south, carrying out home searches.
During one of the raids in Beit Furik, a woman reportedly fainted after soldiers stormed her home and assaulted her sons.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces arrested five Palestinians during raids on the city, the town of Habla, and the village of Hajja.
Local sources said Israeli troops entered Qalqilya from its eastern entrance and searched several homes, including that of Mahmoud Khudraj, who was detained.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces stormed the village of Hajja, east of Qalqilya, and arrested former prisoner Sohaib Barghouthi after raiding and searching his home.
The raids are part of ongoing Israeli military operations across the West Bank, which have intensified in recent months amid continued Israeli war and frequent incursions into Palestinian cities and towns.
