An Israeli court made a decision on Sunday 22 May 2022 that allows Israeli settlers to perform Talmudic rituals in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem, which is an unprecedented provocative move by the Israeli occupation.
The Hebrew Channel 12 reported that for the first time the Israeli Magistrate’s Court in Jerusalem issued a resolution that allows Israeli settlers to chant phrases of Talmudic monotheism and perform prayer kneeling rituals inside the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque that is dedicated for Muslims.
The Israeli move is deemed as a provocative measure that defiles the Islamic holy places in Jerusalem especially the Aqsa Mosque and hurts the feelings of all Palestinian people as well as the whole Muslim Nation.
The Palestinian resistance stated that such Israeli decision is a very serious move that would ignite the whole area and escalate tension in the holy city.
The Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas said in an urgent statement on Sunday evening that the decision of the so-called Israeli “magistrate’s court” to allow Israeli settlers to practice Talmudic rituals during their provocative incursions into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque is a fire-Playing move that crosses all red lines, noting that such measure is a dangerous escalation.
Hamas holds the Israeli occupation full responsiblity for the serious repercussions of such a provocative move, adding that the Palestinian resistance will have its word to halt Israeli aggressions and Judaization plans against sacred places in Jerusalem.
It’s worth mentioning that a similar situation in May of last year has incited confrontations and the launch of the tragic 11-day-aggressive war on Gaza as Hamas fired rockets in response to the violations imposed on the Al-Aqsa mosque and the full-fledged ethnic cleansing and land grabbing attempt on the neighborhood of sheikh-jarrah.
