EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell has repeated his call for a ceasefire in Gaza following an Israeli attack on a school sheltering refugees that reportedly killed 30 people.
Borrell highlighted the dire situation on X, noting, “Yet another attack on a school used as a shelter for internally displaced people in Khan Younis.” He underscored the plight of the already vulnerable population, forced to relocate repeatedly with no end in sight.
He stressed, “Ceasefire has to happen now. International Humanitarian Law has to be respected. Humanitarian assistance to civilians needs to be delivered at scale.”
