US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday July 28th, 2024 that he does not want to see an escalation following Golan Heights.
Israel accused Hezbollah of killing 12 children and teenagers in a rocket attack in the Israeli-occupied, yet Hezbollah denied involvement in the attack.
Israel said on Sunday it would strike hard against the Lebanese group following the incident. Blinken said Washington was in talks with Israel about the incident.
Tension between Israel and Hezbollah has been increased as the Israeli military continues to pound the Gaza Strip with several missiles, killing and wounding people, most of them are children and women.
