Israeli occupation forces IOF stopped Palestinian laborers from working to rehabilitate a Palestinian street in Masafer Yatta on Saturday, May 27, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that IOF stopped and detained several Palestinian workers and confiscated a number of equipment.
Rateb Al-Jbour, a Palestinian activist in Masafer Yatta, stated that the under-construction road is supposed to serve the villages of Al-Tuwana and Al-Karmel, south of occupied Hebron.
Palestinian families in Masafer Yatta, south of occupied Hebron, are regularly banned from construction or renovation by Israeli occupation forces.
