DaysofPal- The Israeli occupation army continued to besiege and attack the three partially functioning hospitals in northern Gaza.
The al-Awda, Kamal Adwan, and the Indonesian hospitals have been hardly treating severely wounded patients and sheltering thousands of displaced Palestinian civilians in northern Gaza over the past year.
However, the three hospitals have come under intense Israeli fire since the start of the Israeli military operation in northern Gaza three weeks ago.
Doctors Without Borders (MSF) called on Israeli forces “to immediately stop their attacks on hospitals in north Gaza”.
“The ever-worsening escalation of violence and nonstop Israeli military operations that we have been witnessing over the past two weeks in northern Gaza have horrifying consequences,” said Anna Halford, an emergency coordinator for MSF.
“When hospitals are attacked, their infrastructure destroyed, and the electricity cut off, the lives of patients and medical staff are under threat.”
Since October 5, the Israeli occupation army has been waging a war of extermination against northern Gaza, committing horrific massacres by bombing homes and shelters, demolishing and burning entire neighborhoods, and preventing the entry of food and water into the area.
This has resulted in hundreds of victims and wounded, with nearly complete disruption of ambulance and civil defense operations due to being targeted by Israeli forces or being prevented from performing their duties.
