DayofPal—Gaza officials say Israel has repeatedly violated the ceasefire announced last month, carrying out attacks that have killed hundreds of Palestinians since the agreement took effect.
The Government Media Office reported that Israeli forces breached the ceasefire at least 282 times between 10 October and 10 November.
These reported violations included airstrikes, artillery fire, and direct shootings across the Gaza Strip.
According to the office, Israeli forces opened fire on civilians 88 times, entered neighborhoods beyond the so-called “yellow line” 12 times, bombed Gaza 124 times, and destroyed residential properties on 52 occasions.
The office also said 23 Palestinians were detained during the same period.
Officials further accused Israel of continuing to block humanitarian aid and destroying infrastructure, worsening the already dire conditions for civilians in the territory.
Early this morning, Israeli helicopters launched heavy gunfire from behind the yellow line east of Khan Younis city in the southern Gaza Strip. According to the Palestinian Information Centre, the Israeli army also carried out six air strikes on the eastern areas of Khan Younis city.
A source at Nasser Medical Complex said yesterday that three people had been killed after Israel bombed east of Khan Younis in southern Gaza.
That same day, Israel also struck Gaza City’s Zeitoun neighbourhood and areas close to the southern city of Rafah.
