DaysofPal- Israel “will respond strongly” to the Iranian attack on multiple Israeli military targets, Israeli media sources reported on Tuesday evening, citing military sources.
Earlier Tuesday, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) launched dozens of ballistic missiles against Israeli important security and military targets, stating that, “the operation was based on a decision from the Supreme National Security Council and with the support of the army.”
“The operation came in response to the assassination of the martyr Ismail Haniyeh, the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and the martyr Major General Abbas Nilforoushan,” the IRGC added.
Iran’s IRGC further vowed that Israel will face “crushing” attacks if it responds to the missile barrage.
Israeli media sources reported that more than 100 missiles were launched from Iran towards central and southern Israel, causing nationwide air raid sirens and prompting citizens to take shelter.
Since last Monday, the Israeli occupation army has been launching a large-scale aggression on Lebanon, the most violent since the beginning of the confrontations with Hezbollah about a year ago, which led to the killing of a large number of Hezbollah political and military leaders, headed by the party’s Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army has continued its aggression on the Gaza Strip, with full American and European support, since October 7.
During this course of time, the Israeli army has carried out 3,628 massacres, resulting in the killing and missing of 41,638 Palestinians, including 16,891 children and 11,458 women.
