The Israeli occupation municipality decided on Monday, March 13, 2023, to demolish the house of the elderly Palestinian woman, Fatima Salem, in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem.

Israeli occupation forces intensively raided Fatima Salem’s house in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood and hung the demolition order paper on her one-room house.

The homes of the Palestinian citizen Fatima Salem and her sons are threatened with eviction in favor of the Israeli settlers, under the pretext that they are Jewish property before 1948.

The family has been waging a long struggle in the Israeli occupation courts for many years to protect its property from seizure, to no avail.
