Dozens of Palestinians were reported injured on Friday, September 9, as Israeli occupation forces suppressed the Palestinian anti-settlement marches held in various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Local sources reported that at least 43 Palestinians were injured with live bullets and suffocation after Israeli occupation forces attacked protesters in Nablus, Qalqilia, Ramallah, and Jerusalem.
For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent reported that at least 37 Palestinians were wounded in Beita and Beit Dajan. It added two Palestinians in Beit Dajan and another in Beita were injured by rubber-coated metal bullets.
In a related incident, an elderly Palestinian man suffered tear-gas suffocation as Israeli occupation forces heavily fired tear gas canisters near the Al-Jeeb checkpoint, northwest of Jerusalem.
In Qalqilya, at least 4 civilians were wounded by Israeli live bullets, as the occupation forces attacked the weekly Kafr Qadoun march. Others suffocated as a result of their exposure to tear gas.
On Fridays, Palestinians organize rallies in several areas in the occupied West Bank to protest the Israeli expansion of their lands in favor of building new settlements.
