Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) stormed Wednesday night, April 5, 2023, Al-Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to evacuate Palestinian worshipers, preventing them from praying inside.
The occupation forces attacked Palestinian worshipers from inside and outside Al-Aqsa Mosque, that IOF attacked worshipers from the Al-Qibli prayer hall, dragging them to the Al-Maghariba Gate area as they refused to leave it.
Local sources reported that IOF fired tear gas canisters and stun grenades directly toward Palestinian worshipers, leading to the injury of at least 6 Palestinians, two of them were taken to hospital.
Since the beginning of Ramadan, Israeli forces have stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque daily following the Al-Tarawih prayer to suppress Palestinians and ignite a religious war in the region through the so-called Jewish Passover holiday.
Meanwhile, Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem continue their calls to mobilize at Al-Aqsa to confront the Israeli incursions, which increased during the holy month of Ramadan.
