Israeli occupation forces IOF shot and killed a Palestinian youth near the occupied West Bank city of Al-Beirah for an alleged stabbing attack, on Friday evening, March 17, 2023.
Israeli media sources reported that Israeli soldiers opened fire at a Palestinian youth ‘as he attempted to stab one of the Israeli soldiers’.
It added that the Israeli occupation forces detained the youth after he was injured by the soldiers’ gunfire.
Later, the Palestinian Ministry of Civil Affairs announced that IOF killed the Palestinian youth Yazan Khasib at the entrance of the Ramallah-Al-Berirah governorate in the occupied West Bank.
No injuries were reported among the Israeli occupation forces in the area, the Israeli media pointed out.
Earlier on Friday, dozens of Palestinians were reported injured after Israeli occupation forces quelled several protests in different parts of the occupied West Bank.
