Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) raided Thursday, February 16, 2023 the homes of three Jerusalemite prisoners, seized their money, private property, gold jewelry, vandalized them and tampered with their contents.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces raided the home of the two Jerusalemite prisoners, Obeida Al-Taweel in the Ras Al-Amoud neighborhood, and Ahmed Manasra, and seized theri own property.
IOF began implementing decisions to impose penalties and seize the property of the Palestinian prisoners, and launched a massive detention campaign against a number of Jerusalemites recently. Today, they detained the Palestinian child Muhammad Jihad Taha (17 years) from the Old City of Jerusalem and dragged him to the Qishla investigation center.
Note that 4,500 Palestinians currently detained inside Israeli occupation prisons, including 400 who have severe and chronic illnesses, 31 women, and 500 administrative detainees.
In the absence of strong pressure to stop the systemic inhumane abuses, the racist and fascist policies of the Prison Service Administration have a negative impact on Palestinian detainees.
