Israeli occupation forces IOF invaded Jerusalem’s Al-Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to evacuate Palestinian worshipers on Saturday night, April 1, 2023.
Palestinian local sources reported that Israeli troops invaded Al-Aqsa and reached Al-Qibli Prayer Hall, in which Palestinian worshipers stay.
When IOF arrived, Palestinians had shut themselves inside the Hall seeking protection, the local sources added.
However, groups of Israeli forces kept knocking on the doors and tried to open them by force. They also cut off electricity to the Hall Prayer.
Israeli settlers carry out semi-daily incursions into the blessed Mosque in Jerusalem and provocatively perform Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
Meanwhile, Palestinians in occupied Jerusalem continue their calls to mobilize at Al-Aqsa to confront the Israeli incursions, which increased during the holy month of Ramadan.
A week ago, more than 50 Israeli soldiers invaded Al-Aqsa and Al-Qibli Prayer Hall, firing tear gas canisters and stun grenades to expel Palestinians.
