DaysofPal- Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a series of demolition operations on Tuesday across multiple locations in the occupied West Bank, destroying residential homes and agricultural facilities in Jenin, Nablus, and areas near Jerusalem, according to local reports.
In the town of Sila al-Harithiya, west of Jenin, Israeli bulldozers demolished a three-story house belonging to the family of Raafat Dawasa, who was killed in August 2024.
Residents in nearby homes were evacuated before the structure was destroyed.
Witnesses said Israeli forces entered the town while firing live ammunition and sealed access points toward the neighboring town of Al-Yamun using armored vehicles.
Reports indicated that gunfire was heard in areas near schools during the operation.
The Israeli occupation had previously notified the Dawasa family in October of their intention to demolish the home.
Dawasa was killed on August 18, 2024, when the vehicle he was traveling in was struck in central Jenin.
In Nablus, forces began demolishing the home of Yasser Al-Saber in the Upper Taawun neighborhood, citing construction without a permit in Area C, a zone under full Israeli administrative control.
The family disputes the classification, stating that official maps place the property in Area B, where civil affairs fall under Palestinian administration.
Al-Saber said the two-story residence, approximately 190 square meters per floor, housed both his family and that of his son.
He said he was forced to evacuate after receiving a court order and estimated the financial loss at more than 250,000 Jordanian dinars. Local sources reported that about 14 inhabited homes have been demolished in the same neighborhood over the past two years.
Separately, Israeli forces demolished several agricultural structures east of Jerusalem, an area Palestinians say has been increasingly targeted as part of efforts affecting communities in Area C and the city’s outskirts.
Israeli occupation did not immediately issue a public response regarding the demolitions.
