The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) closed Tuesday, January 24, 2023 the entrance to the town of Tuqu’, to the southeast of Bethlehem.
The director of the Tuqu’ municipality, Tayseer Abu Mufreh, stated that the occupation forces closed the crossroads on the bypass road leading to Hebron governorate and villages south of Bethlehem, with a military checkpoint, and prevented the passage of vehicles, which led to traffic jams.
It is noteworthy that the occupation forces closed the iron gate at the western entrance to Tuqu’ town some time ago.
