Dozens of Palestinians were reported injured on Friday, August 19, as Israeli occupation forces attacked the weekly anti-settlement marches of Beit Dajan and Kafr Qaddoum with rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that 39 Palestinians were injured during the occupation forces’ attacks against the Beit Dajan protest, east of Nablus.
According to the Red Crescent, 37 Palestinians were injured by suffocation with tear gas. Meanwhile, a Palestinian man was directly hit with a tear gas grenade, and another sustained a rubber-bullet injury.
In a related incident, Israeli occupation forces injured 6 Palestinians after shooting them with rubber-coated metal bullets during Kafr Qaddoum’s weekly protest, east of the occupied West Bank city of Qalqilia.
On Fridays, Palestinians organize rallies in several areas in the occupied West Bank to protest the Israeli confiscation of their lands in favor of building new settlements.
