Dozens were reported injured on Friday afternoon, August 26, as Israeli occupation forces attacked Palestinian protesters participating in anti-settlement marches across the occupied West Bank and Jerusalem.

The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its crews dealt with 32 injuries during the Israeli suppression of the weekly protests of Kafr Qaddoum, east of Qalqilya, and in Beita and Beit Dajan in Nablus.

Local sources reported earlier that 5 civilians were wounded by rubber-coated metal bullets during the occupation’s suppression of the weekly Kafr Qaddoum march.

In addition, Israeli occupation forces suppressed the weekly anti-settlement activity in Beit Dajan, and targeted the unarmed protesters with tear gas canisters.

In the town of Beit Lid, east of Tulkarm, Confrontations erupted after Israeli settlers stormed the town and set up caravans on the Palestinian lands of Abu Luqa. No injuries were reported.

In a related incident, Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, witnessed similar confrontations as Israeli occupation forces fired rubber bullets and tear gas canisters at dozens of young men.

Earlier today, a Palestinian youth was wounded by Israeli bullets during a military raid in the town of Qafin, north of Tulkarm. Meanwhile, local sources reported that the ex-prisoner Laith Al-Ashqar was shot in the foot by IOF during the incursion into Sidon, north of Tulkarm.

On Fridays, Palestinians organize rallies in several areas in the occupied West Bank to protest the Israeli confiscation of their lands in favor of building new settlements.
