Israeli settlers stormed and profaned the Al-Aqsa Mosque on Sunday, September 3, under high protection by Israeli occupation forces IOF.
The Islamic Endowments Department in occupied Jerusalem reported that Israeli settlers stormed the mosque and performed provocative tours and Talmudic rituals near the Bab al-Maghariba area.
Israeli forces were reportedly deployed in the area to secure the colonizers’ storming of the mosque.
They continued to prevent Palestinian worshippers from entering the Al Aqsa mosque, provocatively checking their ID cards and detaining some of them at the mosque’s external gates.
Semi-daily, Israeli settlers storm Al-Aqsa and provocatively perform Talmudic rituals under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, aiming to impose a temporal and spatial division in the holy site, which the Muslim Palestinians reject and decry.
Earlier in June, media sources revealed a new Israeli proposed plan to divide Al-Aqsa Mosque between Jews and Muslims.
In August 2023, at least 3891 colonial Israeli settlers stormed the mosque and performed Talmudic provocative rituals in its squares, according to Palestinian figures.
