Israeli occupation forces attacked Sunday, September 3, 2023, Palestinian farmers in their agricultural lands near the separation fence east of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Israeli forces reportedly fired live bullets and toxic tear gas bombs at the Palestinian farmers in their land east of northern Gaza, forcing them to leave their lands.
Separately, Israeli warships attacked Palestinian fishermen offshore southern Gaza, Al-Baidar area, and fired bullets and toxic tear gas bombs at them, forcing them to leave the sea, Palestinian media sources reported.
Daily, Palestinian citizens living near the separation fence at Gaza borders are subjected to the Israeli occupation’s continuous attacks, including shooting, razing of agricultural lands, and illegal detentions.
Last August, Israeli troops detained 19 Palestinian citizens from the Gaza Strip, including 11 fishermen. Nine other Palestinians were detained near the separation fences east of Gaza.
It’s noteworthy that the Israeli occupation has been prohibiting the entry of essential fishing materials and supplies to the besieged Gaza since 2007 as part of their suffocating siege imposed on the city.
