Days of Pal—The Hind Rajab organization stated that Israeli occupation has issued a sanctions list targeting 50 individuals, including the head of the organization, Diab Abu Jahjah, two co-founders, and three lawyers who have worked with the organization.
In a statement, the organization revealed that the Israeli government has begun allocating substantial resources in an attempt to disrupt and halt its operations.
The statement added that Israel is concerned about a series of legal cases the organization is preparing.
“We have credible information that a large-scale propaganda campaign is about to be launched to delegitimize the organization, sow doubt, and create confusion, particularly by manipulating voices from within pro-Palestine circles,” the statement said.
The organization described the Israeli escalation against it as “no coincidence,” noting that it comes after increased international momentum around the cases Hind Rajab has filed against Israeli military and political officials.
Hind Rajab was founded in February 2024 and is based in Brussels. It focuses on pursuing legal action against Israeli officials and military personnel around the world for alleged war crimes committed against Palestinians.
The organization is named after a five-year-old Palestinian girl who was killed by the Israeli forces —along with six of her relatives—when their vehicle was bombed in southwestern Gaza City on January 29, 2024.
