Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said on Thursday, September 15, 2022, that the shooting attack carried out by a Palestinian against Israeli settlers in the “Carmel” settlement, south of Hebron city, is a continuation of the Palestinian people’s response to the Zionist aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque, and to the crimes of the occupation and it’s settlers against the Palestinians.
In his first comment on the operation, Qassem added, “From the north of the West Bank in Jenin to its south in Hebron, the Palestinian resistance youth in the West Bank continue their fight against the occupation army and its extremist settlers.”
In a related context, Abdel Latif al-Qanoua, a Hamas spokesman, said that the city of Hebron is entering the line of fire in confronting the Israeli occupation, confronting its crimes, and defending Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Palestinian people.
On Thursday evening, an Israeli settler was wounded in a shooting attack targeting the Israeli “Carmel” settlement, which is built on Palestinian lands, south of Hebron.
